If a hot Friday Cliffhanger is any indicator, General Hospital spoilers hint that Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) might be getting into a new relationship soon!
Jacqueline Grace Lopez, better known by her stage as Blaze, is back in Port Charles, New York, and she clicks with Kristina. These two might be destined to collaborate on some lovely music!
Since April, when viewers last saw Blaze, she has been preparing to work with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Blaze Is Back In Port Chuck
Lopez told Soap Opera Digest that she was told by GH casting director Mark Teschner that executive producer Frank Valentini had plans for Blaze to be part of an upcoming storyline.
She added that “When I first came on the show, I knew I was helping to move s toryline along for Chase and Brook Lynn so it really meant a lot that I made an impression.”
Blaze meets Kristina when she arrives at the bar to talk business with BLQ. By her own admission, Kristina totally fangirls over Blaze who then looks up Kristina’s past Nurses Ball singing event and tells her she’s really good.
Kristina In New Romance?
The characters have an insane amount of chemistry, which coincides with Kristina’s final stages of self-discovery. In addition to running the bar, she is working with her father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to open a new LGBTQ+ venue.
When Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and BLQ were seeking to expose unscrupulous music talent boss Linc (Dan Buren) in 2022, Blaze was their singing partner.
After they finished their work, Blaze gave a testimony in Chase’s favor so that he may return to his previous position at the Port Charles Police Department. She then fled the city, but BLQ managed to entice her back.
BLQ’s New Career
Lopez calls her return “surreal and really exciting” and we can’t wait to see what TPTB have cooked up for the talented actress.
We do know that BLQ wants to manage her career now that she’s out from under the blackmailing thumb of her grandma Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
