October 23 General Hospital spoilers suggest that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) may still have hope. In the meantime, Brook Kerr’s character Portia Robinson speaks bluntly to Jeff Kober’s character Cyrus Renault. Additionally, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be seen attending to some unfinished business. What you should know is as follows.
Change of heart?
First, spoilers for “General Hospital” indicate that Cody expresses his gratitude. That’s presumably in appreciation of Kelly Monaco’s Sam McCall for helping to liberate Sasha. But that will bring up a conversation that Cody would probably want to avoid.
meaning persuading him to tell Sasha the truth about how he really feels. Naturally, Cody will be negative and lament, “I had my chance and I threw it away.” Sam, however, is a Davis woman, and she doesn’t give up easily. Thus, we do think she could get him to think a little bit. And it probably will work.
See, she’s going to have a partner in crime. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will visit Sasha. It’s obvious he’ll try to talk her into staying. In the promo, he assures her, “It’s nothing you did, it’s what you’re about to do.”
There’s a good chance he’s going to try getting her to see that there’s a good side to staying in town. As in, Cody. Plus, she does have some friends in town, and we do believe she needs a support system like that, as opposed to going to some town where she knows no one. Plus, we just don’t want to see this character leave.
Cards on the table
Regarding Portia, “General Hospital” teasers indicate that she and Cyrus meet. She won’t be the friendliest with him, of course, and Cyrus will pull out his usual trick—playing the religious card. Not to mention the weak card in addition.
However, Portia will not mince words when she says, “I don’t buy it; and I never will.” To be fair, we do not doubt his religious beliefs; we simply think he is an extreme. You know, carrying out his share of the weeding out of the wicked, since only he knows what the Lord desires.
Still, we call bull on a judge believing he was no threat to anyone. Even if he can’t physically to the job himself, that’s not to say he can’t send someone else to do it for him. Look at how he had Ava Jerome (Maura West) abducted.
About time
We had been waiting for this one, finally. Selina Wu is confronted by Sonny (Lydia Look). Since the start of their collaboration, we have anticipated problems with them.
It was only a matter of time until Sonny took action over Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) debt and how it influenced her behavior that Sasha endured.
“The next thing you say may have long lasting repercussions,” he will caution someone. It becomes clear from the teaser that Selina is the person he is speaking with. He’ll probably also be perplexed as to why she used such force against Gladys instead of discussing the situation with Sonny directly.
