What does Tracy Quartermaine know about Blaze?
You don’t need General Hospital spoilers to know that nobody is just named Blaze – one name, like Madonna or Cher. Chase and Brook Lynn were onto her right away, and Blaze eventually admitted that her real name was the more prosaic Alison Rogers. But, she still goes by Blaze because wouldn’t she? She’s mysterious — but is her identity really a mystery? We may have cracked the code.
GH Spoilers Wild Speculation
Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) is back in Port Charles and Lucy (Lynn Herring) wants her to be the new face of Deception. Tracy is furious with that whole idea. Absolutely furious, even. Tracy wants Sasha to keep her job but, since when does Tracy care about Sasha? We think her motivation has to do with a completely different person. On Blaze. Could it be she isn’t really Alison Rogers? Here’s who she might be:
General Hospital: The Man I Love
When Tracy (Jane Elliot) came to town with the news that Luke (Anthony Geary) died, she was absolutely dev astated. They had a complicated relationship, yes. However, Tracy knew she wasn’t the love of his life, but they got along well and understood each other. It was enough for her.
Tracy is always polite to Laura (Genie Francis) — well, as polite as Tracy can be — out of respect for the role she played in Luke’s life. As for everyone else…Anna (Finola Hughes)…Felicia (Kristina Wagner)…Skye (Robin Christopher)…Blech.
Speaking of Skye, Tracy has an extra reason to dislike her. The woman wormed her way into the Quartermaine family, and although she turned out to be a pretender to the throne, she was still welcomed with open arms. She even named her daughter, with Lorenzo Alcazar (Ted King), Lila, after the Quartermiane matriarch — Tracy’s own mother — Lila Rae.
Put It Together and What Do You Get?
Why are we talking about Skye all of a sudden? She hasn’t been seen in Port Charles in a decade. She left town with baby Lila Rae in 2012. This means Lila Rae should be in her 20s by now. Oh, and what was Luke’s nickname for Skye? What was it again? Oh, yeah…Blaze.
Tracy knows that. She may even know where the little brat is. Maybe Luke and Skye kept in touch. Of course, if Blaze is really Lila Rae, then Tracy has every reason to keep her as far away from Deception as possible. (Hat tip to our very own Garren Waldo, who picked up on the connection!)
