General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will seek out Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in her time of need. He’ll provide comfort and a hug in her grief over losing Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman)-could they be drawn back together?
Sonny Corinthos Is Grieving A Loss Too
Sonny is grieving a loss too, a loss of sorts-a loss of being able to trust his new bride and his and Carly’s son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Carly came to Cynthia Watros and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and informed them that Sonny had ordered Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to turn them up to the SEC. Sonny wants to apologize even though he was unaware that Bobbie had died that evening.
Even though Josslyn Jacks (Courtney Fulk) chastises Michael for his deceit, they avoid discussing the Michael matter. Michael was lying not just to Sonny but also to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and the other members of the family about his attempt to blackmail Nina.
Carly Spencer’s Tight With Drew Cain, But…
Carly is tight with Drew now, and he’s doing his best to give her all the support she needs to deal with her mother’s death. He’s helping her to get her back to Port Charles for the memorial, through some of his contacts from his Navy Seal days-he’s been getting his memories back bit by bit.
Bobbie passed away in her sleep in Amsterdam, in Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) old apartment. It was such a shock-there was no clue whatsoever that she was even ill, and she had been trying to sort out the mess of her brother’s estate.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) had been there several months trying to help but she didn’t notice anything wrong with Bobbie either.
Things Can Change So Quickly
Carly and Sonny have both lived long enough to know things can change so quickly-no one is promised tomorrow, not even them.
There have been changes in Drew since he returned from Pentonville, and even though he’d like to think he is more assertive, he’s really more aggressive.
What if the unimaginable occurred and Drew, like his son Oscar Nero (Garren Lake Stitt), had an incurable brain tumor that caused a significant change in personality?
Sonny and Carly discuss the unimaginable because it happened—for her, with Bobbie, and for his father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail). There is still a link between Sonny and Bobbie because Carly was a solid shoulder for him with Mike and is now a strong shoulder for her with Bobbie.
