The Dancing With the Stars competitor has suggested that things could get even stranger in Summer Bay.

James Stewart is set to try and win the coveted mirror ball trophy on tonight’s grand final episode of Dancing With The Stars, but it was last night’s zombie-inspired dance that saw him ‘copyright’ a future dramatic Home and Away storyline.

After scoring an impressive 35 points with his Paso Doble (but with extra zombie), James was asked by host Dr. Chris Brown if Summer Bay — home to natural disasters, kidnappings, cults, murders, and more! – would ever entertain a zombie apocalypse storyline.

Let’s be real, the idea isn’t that far-fetched for a show that had someone once wash up on the shores of the Bay only speaking Pig Latin (we love you Tasha Andrews).

While Chris could’ve maybe asked James some more timely questions like “Where is Justin’s dog, Buddy?” or “How is Felicity going to die tonight?” he went with the obvious, given James’ creepy dance inspiration.

“Summer Bay, they’ve been plagued by a bit,” Chris said, before suggesting the zombie apocalypse and asking why it hadn’t happened yet.

“Can you see Alf,” James said, putting on his best Ray Meagher impersonation. “You flamin’, flamin’ flesh-eating mongrel,” he said, advancing towards the camera. “Yeah, we should copyright that now, man,” James told Chris.

Who’s in the Dancing With The Stars finale?

James has provided some consistently good dances over the weeks, winning over a new legion of fans with his secret dancing talent.

He’ll compete in tonight’s grand final after battling it out with Shane Crawford and Ant Middleton in the dance-off in last night’s episode. Tonight will see Lisa McCune, Ant Middleton, Nikki Osborne and Samantha Jade battle it out alongside James for the honour of winning Dancing With The Stars 2024.
