According to General Hospital spoilers, audiences have scowled at the plot of the attractive heroine Sasha Gilmore’s carefully planned spiral into madness. Sasha has experienced suffering, and viewers of “General Hospital” have experienced it alongside her.
When Sasha arrived in Port Charles and pretended to be Nina’s daughter, that was the first devastating blow. She came to adore Nina Reeves as a mother, and when Nina learned the truth, she ignored Sasha.
Next, she gave her boyfriend Micheal the benefit of the doubt by making him think she had an affair with Chase so that Willow and Micheal could get married and win custody of Wiley.
Then Micheal and Willow Tait fell in love for real, leaving Sasha out of the picture. Sasha turned to drugs for relief and fell into addiction very quickly. She managed to kick the habit with the help of soon to be husband, Brando Corbin.
Tragedy Strikes at General Hospital
We all believed Sasha Gilmore had found her true love and would spend the rest of her days with Brando and their son Liam. After Liam was born and died at GH, Sasha once more turned to narcotics. She quickly began to decline once more, but surprisingly she was able to recover and turn things around.
The hook then killed Sasha’s husband. Sasha maintained her sobriety in remembrance of her beloved Brando despite this catastrophe. Then, behind Sasha’s back, her mother-in-law from hell, Gladys, began to steal her money and gamble with it.
Now Gladys and Sasha’s evil psychiatrist, Dr. Montague, devised a plot for Gladys to be able to keep control of Sasha’s money with the guardianship, not to mention purposefully get her addicted to pills again.
Fans are still waiting for Gladys and the doc to get caught and get what’s coming to them, and that moment couldn’t come fast enough as Sasha continues on a rapid downward spiral. Because of the pills, she hallucinated, thinking she was seeing Cyrus Renault at the Metro Court pool, and unknowingly stabbed Cody Bell.
Greedy Gladys Orchestrates Sasha’s Downfall
Fans must now monitor poor Sasha, who was restrained at Fern Cliff by her psychiatrist. Her thieving mother-in-law is orchestrating the torture and drugging up of the woman by the doctor who keeps injecting her with who knows what.
Is he providing her with a hallucinogenic substance? Why did he give her these pills in the first place, and what kind of doctor on earth would consent to helping a patient by purposely getting them addicted to medications for what? a game of cards? a partnership with Gladys Corbin?
Hopefully, we will find out his motives soon, and he can be stopped. In the meantime, Sasha is struggling at Fern Cliff and is only allowed the visitors that Gladys approves explicitly. And the one person who may be able to help her, Cody Bell, is certainly not on the list.
General Hospital is fortunate to have Sofia Mattsson playing Sasha, despite the fact that it has been difficult to watch. As she accepts the part of Sasha on General Hospital, you can feel her anxiety and experience her fear.
When is Sasha’s break due? Will Sam and Cody work together to save Sasha while she rediscovers love with Cody? Will she have the ability to return?
