The hit police procedural series NCIS has been greenlit for season 21, however it may be some time before it hits screens.

Sadly due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes, NCIS is just one of the projects to be put on hold while the different parties attempt to come to an agreement.

So, it may be some time until fans are able to see what happens next in season 21 of the hit CBS show.

However, two NCIS actors have reunited to share their support for the strikes on social media.

Brian Dietzen, who plays Dr Jimmy Palmer and Katrina Law, who plays Jessica Knight, joined one another on the picket line.

Katrina took to her Instagram feed to share a carousel of images of her and her NCIS on-screen love interest, Brian, as well as some of her co-stars from the show Arrow.

This included Katie Cassidy and Juliana Harkavy, who played Laurel Lance and Dinah Drake on the comic book series.

In the caption Katrina added: “The usual suspects…plus @davidpaulramsey @sagaftra.”

Fans were quick to share their encouragement for the actors, with one taking to the comment section to say: “I hate what you are being forced to do but it’s really good to see you all together again!!!”

While a second said: “This makes my heart happy.” And a third commented: “Love this reunion.”

This isn’t the first time that the NCIS cast have been vocal in their support for the strikes either.

In July, Brian took to Instagram to share a tribute to his fellow actors on the show, while sharing photos from the picket lines.

Diona Reasonover, who plays fan-favourite Katie Hines, even voiced her support from her hospital bed, as she took to social media to share a picture of herself lying in hospital, after undergoing major surgery, with a WGA West shirt laid on top of her, asking followers to “picket extra hard” on her behalf.

And NCIS Los Angeles’ Kensi Blye actress Daniela Ruah also protested in Los Angeles with fellow NCIS cast members, NCIS Hawaii actors Vanessa Lachey and Kian Talan, NCIS New Orleans’ CCH Pounder and Scott Bakula, as well as Brian Dietzen.

CBS have confirmed, following the release of their revised fall schedule for 2023, that NCIS will not be returning this year.

Since the latest seasons tend to premiere later in the year, it could be possible that fans will need to wait until autumn 2024 for new episodes.
