One Big Brother legend has made it crystal clear that she won’t be tuning in for the new series.

With AJ Odudu and Will Best at the helm, the ITV relaunch of the much-loved reality series has proven a real hit with fans, garnering its highest viewers figures in over a decade with the launch show.

However, despite keeping the nation hooked with everything from rank Pot Noodle habits to clashes over ‘insensitive’ comments, it’s not enough for a past housemate to switch on.

Charley Uchea – who appeared on Big Brother in 2007 – slammed the new series as, ahem, a ‘load of s**t.’

Having been inundated with messages asking her thoughts on the new batch of housemates, the reality star penned a strongly-worded response to her 262k followers.

‘Please stop asking me if I’ve watched Big Brother’, she began.

‘The answer is no, I think it’s a load of s**t’, she blasted. ‘I don’t watch normal TV at all.’

Now 38 years old, the ex-housemate added: ‘Yes I had a great experience from it and done well but I don’t watch it, simple.

‘No one I know does either, tbh I don’t really watch TV at all [sic]’.

Well, that’s that question answered!

Responding to the TV personality’s comments on social media, BB fans were still keen to fight her corner.

‘Imagine getting this from a BB icon!’, one fan tweeted.

‘She knows the show peaked with her!!!!’, declared another.

One fan wrote: ‘charley still bringing it 16 years later, god the channel 4 housemates were a different breed. what a star’.

Although, others were less than impressed with Charley’s fiery remarks, accusing her of trying to be ‘edgy’.

‘Not changed then always thought she was bigger than the show’, one said.

Model Charley was a real character during the eighth series of Big Brother UK.

She was evicted on day 59 but, despite placing 14th, she still made an impact.

Charley is remembered for her false eviction, which saw her leave the main house to a dead-silent crowd before being announced to return the same day.

With a feisty attitude, she also got into big fights with enemy Chanelle Hayes. At one point, the duo rowed for 10 minutes about how old Rihanna was.

Charley was also attacked with a racist slur by fellow housemate Emily Parr, aged 19 at the time.

Emily was ejected from the house in the early hours of the morning after she was heard using the N-word, which she later defended in the Diary Room as a ‘joke’.

Nowadays, Charley can be found posting up a storm on social media, showcasing her curves and tattoo collection in swimwear and lingerie.

Her Insta feed gives the impression that she loves to travel, as Charley is often photographed in sunny climates, thanks to her work with fashion and beauty brands.
