The new season of Dancing with the Stars premiered earlier this month.

And the celebrities starring on the Channel Seven series are reportedly getting paid between $20,000 and $100,000.

According to Woman’s Day, Julie Goodwin is one of the highest paid stars and is earning a ‘six-figure sign-up fee’.

‘The sign-on fee is like a salary, ultimately it doesn’t matter when they are eliminated or in this case are forced to sit out, they take that money home regardless,’ the source explained.

Known for her extensive career as a chef, it seems the show’s producers were more than willing to dig deep into their pockets to secure Julie for the season.

Lisa McCune and Samantha Jade are also reportedly getting paid ‘a $100,000 plus sign-on fee’.

‘There are two to three who earn a mid-range fee like $50-60,000,’ they continued.

‘Then the bulk of the cast usually earn between $20,000 and $40,000 depending on their profiles.’

Julie beat a devastating injury to compete in Dancing with the Stars on Sunday night.

The MasterChef winner wowed fans with a stunning rendition of the Viennese Waltz.

She also impressed the judges, scoring an impressive 27 points alongside dance partner Andrey Gorbunov.

Julie’s triumphant turn on DWTS comes after the fan favourite tore a calf muscle in two places while rehearsing for the dance competition.

In emotional scenes, Julie’s performance won a standing ovation from the studio audience.

A clearly relieved Julie was seen to give dance partner Andrey a very long hug after completing their elegant waltz.
