Dante’s Difficult Journey On New GH Episodes – How Damaged Character Changed & What He’ll Do Next?

Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) return to General Hospital is most likely just around the corner, according to teasers. Before the shutdown, the hints were intensifying both on-screen and off-screen. When new episodes resume showing, we’d say Dante’s comeback is the one you can count on. The indicators are all there, and Zamprogna is eager to make a comeback.

After Dante finally makes it back to Port Charles, though, viewers of GH could notice a completely different Dante. Dante has been battling to overcome a risky mentality while at a specialized WSB facility.

When Dante left, he was deeply concerned about the threat he posed to his loved ones. While Dante’s been gone, he’s been rejecting Olivia Falconeri’s (Lisa LoCicero) letters and shutting everybody out.

There is no chance that Dante will just revert to his previous self after he has recovered and been set free. Dante’s family and his friends all suffered losses as a result of this terrible event. What about Dante’s pain? The focus of the episode has been on how much suffering Dante’s loved ones are experiencing. Dante most likely did not intend for this entire tragedy to occur.

Dante’s programming caused him to develop mental illness. Dante didn’t leave his family on purpose; he only wanted to keep them secure. General Hospital viewers are aware that divorcing Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) was also a gesture of love. Lulu was compelled to accept his leaving and move on by Dante since he didn’t want her to hang around indefinitely.

Now that Lulu has indeed moved on and life itself has been rolling along without Dante in PC, he may not even come home immediately upon his release. It could be a case where Dante’s family finds out he’s been released and living off the grid.

Based on Dante’s behavior since he went away, it’d be reasonable for Dante to think everyone’s better off without him.

Perhaps Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could be the person to ultimately track Dante down and bring him home. It could serve as a good distraction for Sonny after Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) upcoming death.

Sonny, who will be drowning in sadness and longing for some hope after losing his father, should find the thought of having his son back to be incredibly tempting.

Dante can give Sonny that optimism, but if he is located and goes home, things might not be any easier. It’s likely that Dante will be flimsy and reclusive. Dante may even be in some ways icy and harsh. To even somewhat resemble the person Dante once was, he’ll need to put in a lot of effort.

Let’s hope everything comes together for this significant return since it sounds like this might be a pretty exciting journey for the character. We’ll post updates as fresh GH information becomes available.
