“I’m done with being anyone’s scapegoat.”

Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2024‘s Claire Saunders has dropped a damning statement promising to come clean about her cancelled wedding to fiancé Andrew Coleman.

A few short months after announcing their engagement in March, Claire took to Instagram on July 8 to reveal their nuptials were no longer going ahead, citing that the couple needed “a little breathing space”.

The reality star also insisted she had only relocated to Darwin for the dry season and has not moved out of Andrew’s Narromine home.

Sources close to the couple later told So Dramatic! that Andrew and Claire have definitely not split up.

However, one insider, who claimed to be Andrew’s best mate of 20 years, said the farmer’s father “is not well”, which has contributed to the couple putting a halt on wedding plans.

Now, Claire has returned to her Instagram Story, announcing that she will no longer be “anyone’s scapegoat” amid the situation.

Taking to her Story, Claire said “we all have a limit in every situation as to how much of something we can take”.

“Well I’ve reached mine,” she declared, revealing that she will soon be chatting to the So Dramatic! podcast‘s Megan Pustetto to “share what has really been going on and what really happened with the cancelled wedding”.

The podcast will drop on August 1.

Claire continued in her post: “I’m done with being anyone’s scapegoat and I’m no longer sticking up for people that don’t have the same time and respect for me as I do for them.”

She also shared a “Japanese proverb” that read: “Fall down seven times. Stand up eight.”

“In case anyone else needs to read this today,” she captioned the post.

Andrew has yet to comment on the news that he and Claire have cancelled their wedding.
