Max Thieriot may be busy filming Fire Country, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have time for the ones he loves most!
The actor is in the middle of shooting new episodes for Fire Country season 3, and ahead of the show’s October 18 premiere, he decided to have much needed time with his family. As Max posted an Instagram video montage on August 19, folks witnessed him enjoying lake life with his wife Lexi Murphy and their two sons, Beaux and Maximus. It’s clear Max was soaking up the memories he made with them.
“The most beautiful things in life are not just things,” he wrote over the clips. “They are people and places, memories and pictures. They’re feelings and moments and smiles and laughs.”
What’s more, he couldn’t stop relishing his love for quality time, as he captioned the post, “Little bit of life from these past couple of months. More to come ❤️☀️.”

Given how Max is not one to always share the ins and outs of his life away from filming, folks adored seeing him interact with his sons and wife in a down-to-earth way.
“This is beautiful — the power of family 😍 You are all blessed beyond words 🙌,” one person wrote. “Amazing memories made with your family,” another agreed. “Thank you for sharing! Great looking family, you can feel the love through the pictures ❤️🙌🏽✨🙏🏽,” a different follower added.
Well, that’s one way to enjoy the last moments of the summertime! And it looks like home isn’t the only place that’s heating up, as Fire Country season 3 has a lot in store for Max’s fan-favorite character, Bode Leone.
When speaking to Good Housekeeping back in May, the actor previewed what fans could expect from his role in the upcoming installment. Just like Max, Bode is looking for new things to try, which folks will be able to see as he makes a life for himself outside of prison.
“I think we really leave Bode at a big turning point in his character,” Max said at the time. “Due to everything that we’ve been seeing, I think we leave him off sort of seeing him reinvigorated. You really feel like he’s trying to put things behind him and he’s really trying to set a path.”
We’re so ready!
