Scheduled for October 22, 2023, Under The Christmas Sky features Ryan Paevey and Jessica Parker Kennedy. And the Hallmark film follows highly regarded astrophysicist Kat. Scheduled for her first voyage into space, an accident leaves Kat on the ground.
But as she seeks to recognize that her space dreams need to end, Kat turns to volunteering at the local planetarium. And she meets David, assigned to work on an exhibit before Christmas. But can the magic of the stars unite the two?
Prior to Paevey’s appearance on General Hospital and the Hallmark Channel, he achieved successes as a model and jewelry designer. And Ryan shared via MSN that he delighted fans by giving them his braided bracelets right off his wrist.

However, Paevey didn’t use braided wristbands to attract viewers when he played Nathan West on General Hospital. And his portrayal as a “good guy” encouraged Nathan among the audience. As a result, when Paevey left General Hospital in 2018, viewers were astonished and appalled.
The General Hospital actor, though, defends his choice as he takes stock of the past. Ryan also thinks that his decision to leave the world of soap operas was made at the proper time. Looking back, Paevey’s character on General Hospital has progressed significantly since his debut in 2013.
For instance, Nathan got involved in a relationship with Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms). But though he fathered a son with Maxie, his father killed him prior to Maxie giving birth to their baby. And in his time on General Hospital, Ryan even attended his character’s funeral in 2018.

But Ryan also recalled that filming Nathan’s open-casket funeral turned into a series of challenges. And the actor tried to hide his tears amid filming. But Ryan wasn’t the only one. And the General Hospital star recalled how “these people who had become close friends of mine were, like, crying on my chest.”
Ryan, however, said he thinks his departure from General Hospital was “totally amicable. I owe this program so much, really. I didn’t really identify as an actress when GH offered me the role; I wasn’t even sure I wanted to be one.
However, the actor is confident in his decision after filming numerous TV movies for the Hallmark channel. But enthusiasts continue to wonder if Nathan West’s spirit will ever come to Port Charles. Additionally, Paevey hinted that he would leave the door open for any future GH chances.
