Spoilers for General Hospital hint that although John Brennan (Charles Mesure) was only in Port Charles temporarily, he left quite an impression. Brennan initially approached Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) at Kelly’s (now Bobbie’s) Diner and struck up a discussion.
However, Brennan was not entirely truthful about his motivations for coming to Port Charles, and as a result of a heated exchange with Carly, he was sentenced to prison. Does the story go on, though?
Frisco Jones Was Removed From The WSB!
For the last several years, Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) was head of the WSB. When he refused to bomb Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) boat in Greenland, he was quickly removed from his position. Several months later, it was revealed that Brennan took over the position from Frisco.
He was also revealed as the head of the Pikeman Group, who had bringing in dangerous weapons through the Docks in Port Charles. He also had a vendetta against Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
John Brennan Almost Killed Carly Spencer
When Carly discovered Brennan’s true identity, he planned to kill her despite being quite enamored w ith her. Brennan was stopped by Anna and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) and eventually he would up in Pentonville.
Given his position and his contact, it seems as if Brennan could escape any time we wanted to. In addition, there may be forces who want to keep him quiet and may want him dead to keep him from revealing too much information.
Carly Spencer May Be In The Wrong Place At The Wrong Time!
A situation in which Brennan breaks out of prison would be simple to envision. Given his lack of familiarity with Port Charles, he may easily end up hiding out at Bobbie’s. Additionally, Brennan might have been operating covertly the entire time.
Carly might therefore start to wonder that there is more to Brennan than she initially believed if he meets her.
Maybe he’ll kidnap her and drive Carly away while they run from the law and potential killers. At one point, John might even convince Carly that he’s not the evil guy he seems to be and save her life.
