General Hospital Spoilers: Dante’s Fight For His Life Sparks Life In Lulu — Is Emme Rylan Coming Back?

Spoilers for General Hospital reveal After getting shot, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) might never fully recover. Dante may be in his own brain, or in another world entirely, while Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) waits impatiently by his hospital bedside for any indication that he’s about to wake up.

In an attempt to get Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) to return long enough to see Dante at the gates of paradise, some fans are appealing to the GH literary gods.

Alternatively, to tell him it’s not his time and send him back. Would that imply, however, that Lulu is dead and gone forever? Maybe there’s a better way to bring these two back together, screen-to-screen.

Heaven Can Wait

No one really wants Lulu to be dead, and how would Dante ever explain that encounter to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) if he came back from the Great Beyond insisting Lulu was there to send him home?

It’s clear that it’s not Dante’s time, but he may be down for the count for as long as the storyline requires him to hold out on corroborating Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) version of events on the pier.

Hint Lulu Falconeri Wakes Up

While Dante is unconscious and fighting for his life, rumor has it the magic of their connection and the love Lulu has for their grieving children may just wake her up. It’s about darned time, right?

Of course, Lulu waking up while Dante is out of commission would only delay their reunion, causing more angst and build-up tension in the process.

Of course, it would be a good kind of tension — the kind that was building before Julian Jerome (William deVry) blew up the Floating Rib with Lulu and many others inside it.

The Road Ahead

If Lulu does return while Dante is down for the count, she’ll have her work cut out for her. Not only does she have two children to reunite with, but the trauma of learning what has happened to Dante could make her own recovery more difficult.

Similarly, she could find it difficult to reject the idea that powers greater than herself were at work to bring her back just when her children needed her most. But does Lulu’s homecoming mean that Dante and Sam are no longer together, leaving Sam to watch Sam cry over the man she loves?

Or is this only the beginning, and if his ex-wife returns, will Dante wake up with a different perspective on life? To find out how this turns out, check back for more GH news and spoilers.
