Main Medical Facility According to spoilers, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), who survived the Cassadine Island tunnel collapse, will soon be making a comeback to our GH screens. When the tunnels were explored and Jason was nowhere to be seen, how did he manage to survive? Was Jason saved by Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) out of consideration for Britt Westbourne (the former Kelly Thiebaud)?
Jason Morgan Was Presumed Dead
General Hospital Spoilers reveal that after an extensive search, even using heat-sensing equipment, Jason was presumed dead.
However, anyone who knows Jason should know better than to count him out. Jason has survived similar situations before and it is really no surprise that he managed to survive again.
Jason may have needed a little help. It is no secret that Jason suffered from a traumatic brain injury years ago. Jason has also had surgery on his brain.
It is highly likely that Jason could have suffered memory loss after the collapse and needed some help. Liesl would be the one to do that because of how fond Britt was of Jason before she died.
Britt Westbourne Blamed Herself For Jason Morgan’s Death
Britt wasn’t always the world’s most sympathetic woman. Britt was flawed from the start. But after being released from prison, Britt had undergone a transformation.
Britt and Jason got along incredibly well, and he was supportive of her learning that she had been diagnosed with Huntington’s disease.
Before Jason left to save Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), he had started dating Britt. Nonetheless, Jason was more than happy to assist Britt in locating her mother and in saving his brother following Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) return.
However, Britt blamed herself in the end because it was her idea to go to Greece and Jason was lending a hand. Britt believed Jason lost his life helping her.
Did Liesl Obrecht Find Jason?
Let’s suppose that Liesl Obrecht went back to the island after Britt’s death and discovered the gravely ill Jason perhaps in a hospital with very little chance of survival.
Liesl has worked on some miracle cures before and certainly could have done it again. Could Liesl have taken Jason to a hospital that she was affiliated with in Greece and saved his life?
So, during this entire period, where has Jason been? Let’s say that because of Victor Cassadine (the former Charles Shaughnessy), Jason has been in a coma or possibly even held captive by part of the Cassadine personnel. Eventually, Jason manages to get out and goes back home.
Will Jason disclose that Liesl abducted him before he could return home after saving his life on Cassadine Island? What additional explanations exist for Jason’s continued existence?
