Spoilers for General Hospital indicate Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) solely has self-confidence in himself. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), who at first took issue with Eddie’s assertion that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) didn’t exist for him in any way, has subsequently come around and accepts Eddie for exactly who he thinks he is. Although she believes that her husband is still inside of him, hidden deep within, she won’t punish Eddie for keeping him away from her.
Instead, Olivia might soon find herself opening up to Eddie — and the possibilities of a relationship with him — in a whole new way she never could have imagined before.
Olivia Quartermaine Embraces Change
Eddie (Maurice Benard) isn’t about to give up on his ambitions to succeed in the music business, and luckily for him, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) connections in the field have allowed Eddie to stick around.
At the moment, that meant everything to Olivia, but now she might be left wondering how long this arrangement might possibly last.
Eddie is currently residing in the Quartermaine home, but is it a sensible decision if he and Liv never get back together as a couple?
Is it even best for Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda)? Rumor has it Olivia is about to see Eddie in a very new light that makes imagining a future with him — albeit a new future — all the more possible.
Suggest Tracy Quartermaine Won’t Stand For It
Of course, the thought of Olivia suddenly dating Ned’s alter ego will drive his mother insane.
She had already been at odds with Olivia about the notion of having Eddie committed to a facility like Shadybrook.
Olivia won’t give in and is determined to ensure that Eddie is allowed to live his life to the fullest. Tracy is currently looking for any legal ways by which she can force him into a commitment against his will.
It sounds like Olivia and Neddie have at least one very important reason to stay married, as it appears Tracy can’t act against Eddie without his wife’s approval.
Olivia Quartermaine Stands By Her Man?
While Tracy moves Heaven and Earth trying to get Eddie locked up and primes for electroshock therapy, Olivia will be distracted by her budding feelings for Eddie.
She is unlikely to find a buddy who can understand the remorse and confusion she feels when she falls for her husband even though he is locked in his own body and trying to hide from her.
Tracy would undoubtedly make a mockery of the circumstance, and Olivia would be lying if she said her mother-in-law couldn’t influence her.
Will anyone be able to stop Olivia from falling in love with Eddie, who brings out a more carefree and young side of her that the Quartermaine lifestyle may have hidden?
