General Hospital Spoilers: Esme’s Surprise Mourner, Who Will It Be?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will have a surprise mourner show up at Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) memorial service. The service is for Spencer but Esme is presumed dead as well and there doesn’t appear to be a service for her-no one’s offered yet.

Heather Webber-Bereavement Leave?

Esme’s biological mother Heather Webber (Alley Mills), who is on a bereavement leave from Pentonville Prison, is one possibility; however, she would be accompanied by several armed guards.

Since Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), Esme’s birth father, was his twin, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is also, in a technical sense, a close relative of Esme.

Maybe a little service is being planned; he just wouldn’t believe it right to honor Esme at Spencer’s funeral.

Nevertheless, Heather quite possibly could wrangle herself a bereavement leave from Pentonville and show up-she did give Laura Collins (Genie Francis) a heads up, after all.

She knew Esme was on the run and was looking for Spencer and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) although she advised her not to look for Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay).

Esme Prince’s Nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald?

It seems reasonable that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) might call Maggie to let her know Esme’s fate after he and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) visited her.

It’s possible that Maggie would come to Spencer’s memorial service assuming it may be for Esme too, since they went overboard together, but why would Dante tell her about Spencer’s service?

However, it would be a very big surprise for her to show up, not because she didn’t care for her former charge, or mourn her presumed death.

She didn’t want to be associated with her because of her new job and fearing she’d be fired, that’s why she didn’t want the cops asking questions. But she could show up and be there for Esme since she didn’t even know Spencer-it’s possible.

Cameron Webber Will Be There

However, there is one person who ironically showed sympathy for Esme once he found out she was Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) half-sister.

That was her former victim Cameron Webber, (William Lipton) who definitely will be there-Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) called him to let him know Spencer’s fate.

He’ll be there for Spencer, no doubt about it, but he might bring up Esme and grieve for her too; he was still grieving for Franco when he started to feel something for Esme.

When Cameron left for college, things between him and Spencer weren’t going so well; they had a few fist fights at Kelly’s, and then Bobbie’s.

Nevertheless, Cameron will respect Spencer and stand by Joss and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) because they all grew up together, along with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer).
