General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) gets an intruder alert that there’s been a break-in at Wyndemere. Ava assumes it’s Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and goes on the hunt, gun in hand!

Nikolas Cassadine May Not Be The Intruder

Ava is positive that Nikolas is the intruder, even though she changed all the locks long before he vanished and the entire house was sold.

Who else would break into Wyndemere unless it was some random burglar who figured that since it’s a remote place, they could get away with committing a major theft?

Ava left several paintings and artwork there in the hopes that it would increase the mansion’s value; nevertheless, if the artwork was stolen, the perpetrator would have to take the launch.

The only other way they’d be able to fence the goods would to be take their own boat for the getaway, and even then they’d be easily spotted. All the artwork has tracking devices, put in place just like the art in her gallery in case of theft, so they’d be easy to find.

Dante Falconeri Arrives

Upon receiving a separate break-in notification, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) confronts Ava with a gun and informs her that he believes she is attempting to shoot an intruder.

He advises against it and urges her to let the police handle the investigation; all she has to do is fill out a complaint indicating any missing or damaged property.

Even after leaving Wyndemere and filling out the report—technically, she’s not even the owner—Ava doesn’t give up on finding Nikolas.

She tells Dante she had put up the castle and the island for sale and someone put down earnest money through a corporation, but the deed has not yet been transferred. Meanwhile, Ava is determined to hunt down Nikolas on her own and confront him.

Dante Falconeri Returns With Laura Collins

After Ava and Dante talk and she tells him she has reason to believe this could be Nikolas, he returns later with Laura Collins, (Genie Francis) Nikolas’ mother.

One detail, though, seems out of place given the circumstances surrounding the break-in: Laura claims that Nikolas has access to a hidden passageway that leads into the living room.

When questioned, Ava replies that she had the hidden passageway beneath the living room door nailed over, although she is unsure of its exact location.

Dante enters Wyndemere brandishing a rifle, followed closely by a fretful Laura; nonetheless, they discover nothing and nobody. Ava isn’t letting Nikolas get away with framing her for Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) murder, so she’s still searching for him!
