General Hospital spoilers suggest that recently when Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) told Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about what happened between her and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he was shocked.
Sonny And Carly Are Endgame
Jason will never let himself accept it, but he has always loved Carly. Rather, he has consistently provided substantial backing for Sonny and Carly’s captivating yet turbulent romance.
Jason was informed by Carly that Sonny had changed since returning from Nixon Falls. He intended to reaffirm their vows and walk Carly down the aisle when he first got back.
The mob boss ruined what was meant to be Sonny and Carly’s fresh chapter. Sonny had a sexual encounter with Cynthia Watros’s character, Nina Reeves, on the evening that he was meant to have a romantic reunion with Carly.
Sonny was still struggling with his “Mike” persona. He didn’t think that Carly would even show up. So when Carly walked in on them, she was heartbroken and asked him for a divorce.
Jason’s reaction spoke volumes about his commitment to his friendship with Sonny and Carly. When Carly remarked that people always fall in and out of love, Jason responded, “Not you and Sonny.”
Jason knows that Sonny and Carly are endgame. GH fans have known this for decades. They always find their way back to each other.
This time, though, they may need a little help from Jason. He sees the truth about “CarSon,” and that it’s the type of bond that can’t be broken.
That’s not to say Jason wants Carly to be a doormat and put up with mistreatment. Once Jason discovers that Sonny’s medicine was tampered with, Carly and Jason can work together to help him.
Carly Is The Love Of Sonny’s Life
Finding the old Sonny deep down may prove to be quite the challenge. Sonny is determined to push everyone who cares about him away.
But once Sonny’s meds get straightened out, Jason may be able to talk some sense into Sonny. What’s keeping Sonny and Carly apart?
Past mistakes and bitterness from the pain Sonny and Carly caused each other can not be forgotten. Well, Sonny mainly caused the pain, and Carly doesn’t want to give the dimpled don the chance to hurt her again.
However, with Jason serving as an intermediary, he can help the former couple realize they still love each other. Sonny was mesmerized by Nina, and she turned him into Mike.
But Sonny will again have images of the stunning woman who enthralled him, much like the day he remembered his beloved Carly, he will see Nina for who she truly is.
She appeared to him in dreams, and he was unable to let her go. She was the love of his life, and he knew who she was.
It’s about time for Sonny and Carly to get married for the sixth time formally, with Jason serving as best man. Even though they are buried, their feelings for one another are still there and could resurface.
Though it will take a while, Sonny and Carly are meant to be together. The only person who can help them realize that is Jason. It’s just a question of time.
