According to General Hospital spoilers, Maurice Benard’s character Sonny Corinthos knows how important it is to keep his adversaries close to him.
Even though he may be upset with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and has the authority to discipline her or end their relationship, he chooses to support her anyway. Despite her potential for danger, she will always prioritize her financial interests. That will work to his benefit.
Bone to Pick
Sonny isn’t happy with Selina, so he calls her into his office. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Borroughs), his cousin, was permitted to play poker at her personal tables. Selina kept Gladys’ significant loss a secret from Sonny.
Selina claims that although Gladys accrued a significant amount of debt, she was still making her payments. Despite her frequent tardiness, she claimed to have the money. Selina didn’t think she should “bother” Sonny with this knowledge as a result.
But Selina can tell that Sonny is not pleased with her and she apologizes. She says that out of respect for their relationship, she should have told Sonny what was going on. Selina doesn’t know it, but Gladys was only able to make her payments because she was stealing from Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and was also drugging her.
Making Amends
Selia expresses regret and asks how she may make things right. For her proposition, he’s prepared. She must assist him. Now that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is out of jail, Sonny is aware that he is pursuing him.
Sonny is certain that Cyrus gathered the fabricated Pikeman information and attempted to get the FBI to look into Sonny.
Additionally, Sonny thinks Renault is responsible for the most recent kidnapping of Ava Jerome (Maura West). Renault wishes to act against Sonny because he is envious of him. Sonny doesn’t find Cyrus’ claims that he has “changed” and “found religion” to be credible.
Sonny is concerned and needs to keep eyes on Renault. He can do that that to a certain extent with his own people, but to not miss anything, he needs help. He tells Selina that he needs her help to keep tabs on Cyrus.
She must inform him of Renault’s activities and, moreover, notify Sonny immediately in the event that Cyrus gets in touch with her.
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) questions Selina’s reliability as an information source. Sonny is skilled at manipulating her as he is aware of how highly she values her business.
