Hopefully, Sam and Lulu’s loved ones are prepared for anything to happen.
In addition to Sam and Lulu’s loved ones showing up for them, General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, October 24, focus on Carly making her case to Jason. Also, a character from the past returns.
Surgery Time
We’re not going to lie. Ever since learning Sam (Kelly Monaco) was going to be Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) donor, her interactions have felt extra emotional, to say the least. After all, we know that Kelly Monaco’s exit from the show is imminent. Storyline-wise, on Thursday, Sam and Lulu’s friends and family, their loved ones, are at the hospital.
Ultimately, for them, this will be a harrowing waiting game as they hope and pray for the best outcome. However, everybody’s treating Sam’s part of the donation as a risk, but a given that she comes out of it okay. Meanwhile, even Lulu making it through the transplant surgery doesn’t mean she’ll be instantly safe and healthy. Will she still be in the coma? And for how long?
Heather Fallout
Curtis (Donnell Turner) will do anything to protect his family, and it sounds like he’ll go into overprotective mode now that Heather (Alley Mills) is crazily free. Look for Curtis to enact a plan to get Heather out of town. What will this involve? More importantly, will his actions be considered legal? Undoubtedly, Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Portia (Brook Kerr) will have their guards up 24/7. What’s Curtis about to do to ensure their safety and their ability to relax while that woman walks around town free and clear?
Now that Heather’s free, somebody suddenly returns to Port Charles. Steve Webber (the return of Scott Reeves) is also out of prison. And when he hits town, he’ll presumably reconnect with his birth mother, with whom he shares a strained relationship. Actually, who doesn’t share a strained relationship with Heather? In addition, Steve will no doubt visit his old haunts, including GH, where his half-sister is now Head Nurse.
Crises and Cases
When Brennan (Charles Mesure) faces a crisis, what is important enough for the WSB to step in and solve the problem? Does it have to do with the fact that Sidwell is in the United States? And, on top of that, he has probably made his way to Port Charles? Holly’s (Emma Samms) delusional diamond smuggling has made it impossible for Sidwell (Carlo Rota) not to put Port Charles on his radar. Does the charming station chief actually turn to someone for help?
