Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), who has experience with duplicity, cannot be ruled out as still being alive, according to General Hospital spoilers. Victor was skilled at acting out his own demise, perhaps by donning one of his realistic masks. If he survives the experience in Greenland, he might exact revenge on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
There are hints that link the Metro Court pool incident to the WSB and suggest that a rogue agent may have been involved. Sonny starts to have misgivings about the WSB over the week of July 31–August 4.
Given Victor’s previous role as the WSB director, he probably has allies within the company who will carry out his evil schemes. Victor wouldn’t be satisfied with just damaging Anna’s career; he would want to be rid of her for good.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) Coming Back? Really Not Dead After All?
Victor may have planned his retaliation while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was out conducting a futile hunt for Nikolas Cassadine (formerly portrayed by Adam Huss).
The gargoyle image Victor included in his will suggests that he was aware of Ava’s role in Nikolas’s harm. If Mason Gatlin (Nathaniel Grey) has spoken to Victor, Victor may also be aware of Nikolas’ present state.
As Anna becomes more interested in the Pikeman Security Group, the plot is getting more complicated. Valentin has ties to the organization, and Mason’s supervisor is interested in learning more about Sonny’s interactions with Pikeman. Victor’s probable involvement in Valentin’s interactions with Pikeman is called into doubt by this.
As the puzzle comes together, it looks more and more likely that Victor Cassadine is planning a retaliatory counterattack. An additional assault on Anna over the week of August 7–11 may provide more evidence supporting Victor’s comeback.
