Spoilers for General Hospital reveal Something suggests that Cameron Mathison’s character, Drew Cain, will take his time while in Australia on business. Naturally, Carly Spencer (played by Laura Wright) requires additional time to get to know Mr. Brennan (played by Charles Measure). Regarding what they think will happen between Carly and her newest client, fans appear to be divided. It’s obvious that Brennan is obsessed with all things Pikeman, but neither she nor almost anybody else in the community are aware of this.
As long as Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) doesn’t spot him, he should be good, but that might not be easy if he starts hanging around Carly — who often crosses paths with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who is spending more time with Anna these days than ever before. Hmmm… do we spy two new romances on the horizon?
Adios, Drew Cain And Carly Spencer?
To be honest, a lot of people are hoping that Carly and Drew’s relationship is about to collapse. They never sensed a connection or chemistry. The flashbacks of the engaged pair in Jacksonville, Florida still make them shudder.
Therefore, it’s realistic to assume that few people will cry over that loss if Drew returns home to find a changed Carly who is unsure of her feelings for him. Additionally, everyone knows that a reunion between Sonny and Carly is inevitable.
Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny are due to implode soon, and nothing will pique Sonny’s interest more than Carly being targeted by Pikeman to get to him.
Gush Mr. Brennan Turns on the Charm
Carly has already made it quite clear to Mr. Brennan that she is spoken for. Rather, she said she was seeing someone.
While that is technically correct, she didn’t go so far as to say she has a boyfriend, or even to describe herself as being in a serious relationship. The fans noticed.
After a long enough stint in Pentonville, followed by an impromptu trip to another country that took him away during the holiday season, Drew left Carly with far too much time on her hands as a handsome stranger waltzed into town to sweep her off her feet.
Pikeman Makes A Move
It’s possible that Pikeman is in town and aiming at multiple targets. Nobody knows who shot Anna at the Metro Court pool, despite the fact that the truth about Scarlett Fernandez’s character, Charlotte Cassadine, being involved in her harassment is out there.
Moreover, no concrete evidence has yet been shown to demonstrate that the impact was intended for Anna and not Sonny, or for both of them.
Now that Pikeman is in the area and free to move about without anybody knowing who he is, Carly can find herself falling in love with the wrong man at the wrong moment and endangering everyone’s safety in the process.
