According to General Hospital spoilers, Cynthia Watros’s character Nina Reeves has revealed too many secrets and told too many lies to her new husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Nina’s secrets are bound to catch up with her eventually. She’s going to find out what it’s like to turn Sonny into an enemy.
Nina Put Anna and Charlotte in Danger
Sonny might pardon Nina for her offenses against Finola Hughes’s Anna Devane. He might even realize that her relationship with Scarlett Fernandez’s character, Charlotte Cassadine, motivated her to act deceitfully and covertly.
Nina also sided with James Patrick Stuart’s character Valentin Cassadine when she removed the hotel video that demonstrated Charlotte was pursuing Anna.
When Nina decides to protect Charlotte’s secret, she puts both Anna and Charlotte in jeopardy. She shot Charlotte, not realizing it was her who had broken into her flat.
Anna would have never been able to forgive herself if Charlotte had died. Sonny will definitely be angry with her, but he could forgive her and come around.
What Nina did to the mother of Sonny’s children is a different story. Nina ratted out Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC because Nina was jealous of Carly’s connection with her daughter, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
That jealousy could have cost Carly and Drew a lot more than it did. In a romantic gesture, Drew took the fall for Carly, who was the one who committed—insider trading.
Carly and Drew Paid a High Price
The judge sentenced Drew to serve three years in Pentonville, a prison for dangerous criminals. He got beat up by Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) goons and almost died.
Meanwhile, Carly, who was terrified for Drew’s life, lost five million dollars to the SEC. She almost lost her house.
Fortunately, Carly got the goods on the crooked judge responsible for Drew’s harsh sentence, and he let Drew out of jail after six months.
When Sonny learns what Nina did, he will be furious and want a divorce. There is no way Sonny can forgive that kind of betrayal, even though Carly did conceal the truth about Willow being Nina’s daughter for so long.
GH fans know that any mother of Sonny’s children is off limits, and if anybody messes with one of Sonny’s baby mamas, there is going to be hell to pay.
We don’t believe Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will be the one to spill the beans. Michael prefers to have the upper hand with Nina and control her access to Willow.
Carly graciously declined Michael’s offer to buy half of the Metro Court Hotel when Nina suggested it. Sonny believes she’s attempting to do the right thing, but he was skeptical that she would offer that.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) would be the most logical person to inform his family so he can reassure them that he is not a traitor or whistleblower.
This fact needs to be spoken, even though Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) uncharacteristically swore Ned to silence.
