Theo is looking for Perri ahead of their day hanging out. He’s concerned about his friend and what might happen in court. He gets a text from Justin asking him to work today – but today is his day off. Theo pushes back but Justin has the final word, insisting that Theo should cancel his plans with Perri and go to work.
Leah’s frustrated, watching Justin treat Theo like that. She asks what’s going on with him, but he keeps blaming it on his ‘suppliers’. It’s not quite a convincing enough lie. Leah mentions to Marilyn that she feels like there’s something off about Justin lately.
Meanwhile, as Harper and Tane discuss the upcoming day in court, Harper announces she was able to reschedule her ultrasound scan so they can go together. Tane’s excited to finally see his baby.
At home, Perri announces to Tane that he’s decided not to go to court. Tane takes him for a walk and tries to reassure him that his dad can’t hurt him tomorrow, and if things go well, he’ll never have to see him again. Later, Tane gets Perri to take out his anger on the punching bag at the gym. He watches on, pained by the level of anguish coming out of Perri.
Tane’s concerned when Harper doesn’t turn up. They’d planned to head to court together. Instead, she arrives at the hospital where Dana is immediately at her side. She’s bleeding.
Elsewhere, Xander is acting suspiciously while working at Salt, and Rose picks up on it, but has no idea what’s causing this. When Tane and Harper arrive, Xander takes the opportunity to ask if Tane always wanted to run a gym. Later, Rose overhears him grilling Leah about running a business. What is going on with Xander?
Also today, Dana’s finding Bree more and more difficult to work with. When Bree insists Dana should re-check the resus trolley, Dana reassures her that she checked it when she first arrived at work. But a little later, Dana finds Bree checking it herself.
When an injured patient gets blood on her scrubs, Bree rushes out of the room, leaving Dana alone to deal with the situation. Dana confronts her later for walking out on a patient. She offers Bree her time if she needs to talk, but Bree sends her away.
