The guys of The Valley were getting emotional on a group trip to Big Bear Lake, California.
Sometimes you just need a good cry.
The men of The Valley proved that as they did some serious male bonding during a group trip to Big Bear Lake, California.
In a new preview clip of The Valley Season 1, Episode 10, the men commiserated about their relationships and the demands of fatherhood as soon-to-be dad Jason Caperna nervously looked on.
Why was Danny Booko upset at Big Bear Lake?
It all began when Danny Booko tearfully admitted he didn’t have “thick skin” when it came to his “friendships and brotherhood.”
“You’re an amazing man,” Jesse Lally reassured him.
“I can’t even imagine my life with what you have,” Jax Taylor told the father of three.
“I’m going through a lot, guys,” Danny admitted as he broke down in tears.
As they sat around the fire pit, the men probed Danny — who just welcomed twin daughters and has been helping wife Nia through some postpartum depression — about what he meant by the statement.
“It’s a lot,” Danny replied. “It’s a lot of work. I’m up every two hours changing diapers, putting kids on boobs. I do it all.”
The men lamented about how their responsibilities at home shifted since becoming fathers as Jesse asked Danny whether Nia “respected” all the work he puts in.
“She does, but I feel like — ” he said.
“They never do,” Jesse cut in before turning to Jason. “They never give appreciation. You’ll realize that.”
With Jason just months away from welcoming his own son, the attorney looked understandably nervous.
“Don’t say that to him,” Danny interjected. “He’s got a kid coming. It’s a different time, you know what I mean. Women just expect different things.”
What did Jax Taylor and Jesse Lally admit about their relationships?
The cool night air, crackling fire, and candid confessions soon had Jax and Jesse opening up about their own troubles.
“I”m going through the same thing,” Jax emotionally admitted. “My wife wants to have another kid. I just don’t know if I’m ready to do that yet.”
Jesse found himself faced with the opposite problem.
“I want another kid so bad and she doesn’t want to have one,” he tearfully admitted of his now-estranged wife Michelle Saniei Lally. “It sucks.”
When Danny asked Jesse what he felt that said about the status of the union, Jesse gave a grim prediction for the future.
“I think I’m trying so hard, I think we’re done,” he sadly confessed. “Me and Michelle.”
Jesse opened up further about his thoughts on the struggling marriage in his confessional.
“I don’t want my marriage to be over. Like, can you imagine being 43 years old, single, raising a daughter?” he asked. “It’s a lot to take in.”
The couple officially announced they were planning to divorce in March just days before The Valley premiered.
