The supreme runway queen of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 9 is spilling some hot, scalding tea about those rumors that she allegedly spent a whopping $250,000 on her runway package while preparing to compete on this season.
“Did you really spend $250K on your runway package? Oh, absolutely not,” Plastique Tiara said in a video shared this past weekend. “But it sure looks like it, huh?”
The drag superstar continued, “I will say I am very, very lucky to have amazing friends who are legendary designers in Vietnam. I would not have my package without them. They are responsible for mostly everything… but $250K?! I don’t know who started that rumor, but werk.”

But here’s the thing: while we’re obviously inclined to believe Plastique on this one, it actually wouldn’t be shocking if she did spend that much money on it. I mean, just look at the material!
It’s giving budget. It’s giving Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. It’s giving next-level drag. It’s giving production value.
We appreciate the clarification, Plastique, but we have to be honest: we’re still under the impression that this UNBELIEVABLE runway package did cost a lot of coins!
