Season 15’s Miss Congeniality winner Malaysia Babydoll Foxx makes a glorious appearance at the grand finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 to pass down her reign to a new congenial queen.
Malaysia explains that the winner of this year’s Miss Congeniality will win a cash prize of $10,000… but before she announces the winner, there’s a twist! “For the first time in Drag Race herstory,” Malaysia declares, “it’s a tie!”
The first Miss Congeniality winner of season 16 is none other than the LMAO queen herself, Xunami Muse. Malaysia then announces that the second Miss Congeniality winner of the season is the only and only MOTHER, Sapphira Cristál, who runs all the way from backstage to join the moment.
Xunami and Sapphira each receive a cash prize of $10,000 for winning the title of Miss Congeniality. It may have been a tie, but the full $10,000 are still given to the two of them!
Malaysia subsequently announces the other season 16 queens will each receive a cash tip of $2,000… so no one goes home emptyhanded! As Ru would say, “losing is the new winning.”
Congratulations to this entire cast of queens for such a fierce and fabulous season! And the fans should stay ready, because All Stars 9 is coming for us.
