Tom Selleck is back in the spotlight. The actor is known for living a private life off the map. However, Daily Mail recently snapped candid photos of the actor. According to the outlet, the actor was looking rough in new workout pictures. The shots were the first time Selleck stepped out in public since his Blue Bloods exit. He was looking fatigued while rocking a beard.
As expected, fans had a lot to say looking at Selleck’s unrecognizable appearance. It was far from his clean cut looks compared to what fans are used to, but that’s completely okay. Fans were pleased with the overall reaction from the media, especially given Selleck’s older age.
Fans wrote, “Leave him alone, he looks great. And the show he was on has played out. It brought many many years of entertainment, and it wasn’t brutally axed, it ran its course.”

It remains to be seen if Selleck returns to Blue Bloods down the road. However, at the moment, it appears as though the show has come to an end.
Tom Selleck Was Crushed By CBS’ Decision To End Blue Bloods
Despite Blue Bloods coming to an end, Tom Selleck still had hopes of the show returning. Speaking with CBS News, the actor was hoping CBS would come to their senses.
“Well, that’s a good question. I will continue to think that CBS will come to their senses. We’re the third-highest scripted show in all of broadcast. We’re winning the night. All the cast wants to come back. And I can tell you this: We aren’t sliding off down a cliff. We’re doing good shows, and still holding our place. So, I don’t know. You tell me,” Selleck said when asked about the show’s future.
CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach, however, didn’t give the future of Blue Bloods much hope.
“We love this cast, we love their passion for the show. All shows have to come to an end. It’s important to us to refresh the schedule. We are going to end the show come December.”
An abrupt end to the series and one Selleck clearly wasn’t entirely satisfied with.
