It feels almost rote to say at this point, but the past week of Big Brother 26 was absolute mayhem. The eviction of one of the biggest players in Tucker Des Lauriers left T’kor Clottey, Kimo Apaka, and Rubina Bernabe suddenly on the outside looking in. Quinn Martin won HoH and set his sights firmly on Angela Murray. But Leah Peters threw a massive wrench in his plans, vetoing her. In turn, Quinn put up one of his closest allies, Joseph Rodriguez.
Despite the chaos of the Veto meeting, the die unfortunately seems cast for the trio of Kimo, Rubina, and T’kor. Not only were they the closest with Tucker, but they’re a seemingly unbreakable block of three, which is threatening going into the jury phase. But, as the only person guaranteed to be safe, T’kor isn’t going down without a fight. And it involves a pitch to Chelsie Baham.
The clip above shows a sneak peek of tonight’s eviction episode of Big Brother 26. In it, T’kor comes upon a steamed Chelsie. She’s angry with Cam Sullivan-Brown, who has complicated their relationship with his overt flirting with Makensy Manbeck. And, while T’kor comforts her friend in her anger, she also knows an opportunity when she sees it.
“Of course, I’m feeling for Chelsie on a personal level. It sucks,” T’kor explains in the Diary Room. “But Cam is doing thing that are kind of pushing Chelsie away. Maybe I can use that to my advantage a bit.”
The way T’kor views the eviction vote, if Joseph loses the “AI Arena” competition and is left up on the block, whichever trio member is against him will get three votes to stay: Herself, Angela, and the trio member who won the competition. With seven people voting this week, it takes just one to turn and flip the house once more. From her perspective, she needs just one more. And she sees the chance to have Chelsie be that one.
“I want to take Kimo as far as I can,” she tells Chelsie. “But my priority is you and Rubina.” Chelsie responds in agreement, saying that Quinn wants to keep Joseph, who she is not a fan of.
“I’m not playing this game for any man in this house, and I need to start prioritizing my own game,” Chelsie says in the DR. “If keeping Joseph here is better for Cam and Quinn’s games, fine. But I’m not here to play their game. I’m here to play my game. And that might mean sending Joseph home.”
“People have to vote Joseph out,” she affirms to T’kor in real-time. “And we have to work hard to make sure that happens.”
Will T’kor and Chelsie be able to get the support they need? Will it lead to yet another blindside on eviction night? And who will be leaving the Big Brother house tonight?
