Fans of General Hospital can prepare for some unexpected story turns, according to spoilers. Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) appear to be engaged in a convoluted plot at the moment.
Despite their painful divorce, Jay and Joey Clay, who once had a romantic relationship, are making every effort to co-parent Ace Cassadine. However, Spence is not Ace’s father, but rather an older brother who desires to have a significant role in the child’s upbringing. Furthermore, despite having amnesia, Esme appears to be falling back in love with her former partner.
Still, while Ms. Prince is a dedicated mom, should Spence trust her considering who her biological mom is?
Esme Prince’s Odd History In Port Charles
GH teasers also suggest that Esme had a highly dubious past before moving to Port Charles. Particularly when the discussion turned to her adoptive parents’ deaths and their “accident.”
Although that is yet unresolved, Esme’s turbulent past in the small village is equally difficult to overlook.
When Esme was first revealed to the public in 2021 as Spencer’s best friend from their exclusive school, there was a great deal of mystery around her identity and her connection to Port Charles. Despite her attempts to socialize with the PC adolescent environment, it was immediately apparent that she was at odds with Tabyana Ali’s character, Trina Robinson.
One major reason was that she could sense a connection between Trina and Spence. Still, Prince was also focused on ruining Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) relationship, which she ended up successfully doing.
There was also her link to psychopath Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) that had fans buzzing, so when all the puzzle pieces came together, eventually, it all made sense.
Esme Prince’s Family Tree
Esme’s bizarre behavior made sense to viewers after they discovered that Ryan was her father. But the query of her biological mother persisted for a while.
Finally, in December 2022, it came to light that Ryan was having an affair with fellow lunatic Heather Webber (Alley Mills), with whom she had conceived Esme. Since neither criminal could raise the girl, her family’s history was concealed for several years and she was placed for adoption.
