According to General Hospital teasers, Liesl Obrecht hasn’t been spotted in Port Charles for a while.
After assisting her grand-niece Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) with her bone marrow transplant, she then appeared to vanish.
Kathleen Gati, who plays the good doctor, just joined the X social networking platform to inform followers.
Fans Miss The Beloved Ms. Obrecht
Ron Klopfanstein, a fan of the actress, recently tweeted her, writing that he and other viewers have missed Liesl on the ABC soap opera and are hope to see her soon.
Thank you for missing me, Ms. Gati answered, adding that everyone should “stay tuned” since “you never know” when Obrecht might appear on General Hospital once more.
However, Gati also responded to Cindy Chapman, another fan, who said that they missed her on GH as well. Also asked if viewers may anticipate seeing her soon by the X follower, Kathleen responded that there was a “very good” chance they would!
Liesl Obrecht Went From Zero To Hero
Liesl first appeared to audiences in 2012 as Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) sidekick and love interest, although she was a lot more “in love” with him than he was with her.
Fans soon caught on that Faison used his talent of manipulation quite a bit with Liesl, emotionally abusing her to do what he wanted.
Over the recent years, Obrecht has been on a road to redemption, and that has been partly due to her time in Port Charles without Faison, and the positive influence of her son Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), as well as his wife, Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) and wanting to “be better and do better” for her grandson, James West (Gary James).
Liesl was last seen by viewers in May, when she not only saved Willow’s life but also brought down other Port Charles “heroes” including Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). What project will Obrecht work on next? Watchers must tune in to find out!
