Spoilers for General Hospital alert: viewers should anticipate the unexpected. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is currently having difficulty using a wheelchair as a result of the gunman event that occurred at the Metro Court Pool last summer. He appears to be getting some optimism, but at what cost? He is incredibly eager to walk once more.

Good News/Bad News

According to GH spoilers for the week of December 4th, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will be bringing her husband some very important news. It turns out she may have discovered a test process that could be beneficial to Curtis.

It appears that she will do some investigating and that she genuinely thinks he could find this useful. It appears that he has a strong possibility of recovering the ability to use his legs, whatever this operation entails.

It may take some convincing on her part, so after much talk, and encouragement, he’ll agree. Knowing how soaps work, there are bound to be obstacles once Curtis gives his stamp of approval.

Could the clinical trial already be full? Perhaps the wait list is years in advance? Portia may end up pumping Curtis’s hopes up to get his “okay”, only to learn he’ll have to wait a long while before he can be seen.

Fans have learned that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) seems to have connections all over. Could the criminal be the key to having Curtis’s name appear on the top of this clinical trial’s list?

Portia Could Fill A Spot He Needs

With Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) dead, Renault needs a new GH doctor to help him out with medical emergencies.

Because Portia is a fantastic doctor in dire need of assistance, Cyrus might make her an offer: assist me when I need it, and Curtis gets this experimental operation right away. He’ll hold this over Portia’s head, just as he held medical school over Austin’s.

Portia would take a bullet for Curtis even though supporting Cyrus would go against all she stands for.

She cares about their marriage and family’s well-being in addition to wanting him to return to his regular self so he may move on with his life.
